Do you aim to have readers dashing through your short fiction or unable to put your novel down after finishing a chapter? This workshop class will focus on developing dramatic tension, that quality in effective fiction that keeps readers moving from page to page. Participants will have the opportunity for two workshops of their writing as well as other feedback opportunities. Students will be asked to write, read, and provide feedback to peers, both orally and in writing, throughout the 8 weeks. To enroll in the class, students must submit a writing sample of at least 750 words to the instructor. Email sample to firstname.lastname@example.org.
