Have you ever thought about writing an essay or short story or even a novel but just didn’t know how to get started? Or, maybe you started writing something but got stuck and now it is collecting dust. In this ninety minute session, acclaimed author and literary scholar Mark Edmundson will lead a vibrant discussion of how to jump start your writing and sustain your writing practices so that you can begin telling the stories you want to tell.
About the instructor: Mark Edmundson, author of The Heart of the Humanities, is a professor at the University of Virginia. He is also the author of Why Write?, Why Teach?, Why Read? and The Death of Sigmund Freud. He lives in Batesville, Va.
