May 14, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

eppard31Instructor: Ben Eppard
Cost: $60.00 Members | $65.00 Non-Members
Saturday, May 14, 2016 | 1:00 PM-5:00 PM

LIMITED TO 11 STUDENTS.

Do you wonder what kind of website would work best for you as a writer? There is an increasing number of possibilities from DIY platforms to paid services, and it can be disorienting. We’ll establish a clear vision for your web space, consider best practices for the web, and explore the different options available to you. This workshop is designed for those who are comfortable on a computer but do not have a background in programming. Participants will leave with a roadmap for developing their own writing website.

Ben Eppard is a writer and designer from Charlottesville, VA. He currently runs Burwind a small design studio specializing in branding, web design, and organizational strategy. Eppard previously served as the Director of Communications for Madison House, the student volunteer center at the University of Virginia. He has led workshops on public relations, web design, and cloud computing.
