Members-only Mindfulness Workshop

To help start the new year with a positive attitude, we are offering our members a FREE 90-minute seminar. There are limited spaces for this seminar, so please email programs@writerhouse.org in order to reserve your spot.
Join in an early afternoon mindfulness session to refresh and relax your body and mind. Learn about a new mindfulness book for children and their care-givers– Mindfulness for Kids by J. Robin Albertson-Wren and Carol P. Roman, and experience mindfulness techniques that positively affect how we handle stress, develop self-compassion and communicate with one another. Explore the habits in our lives that we want to change, and through written reflection and group discussion, consider how to shift our behavior. Gain tools for promoting health and a sense of well-being, as well as learning about the process of co-authorship, and one author’s experience with the publishing world.
