Aristotle defined story structure in 3 parts:  beginning, middle, and end.  But where do you begin?  How do you shore up a sagging middle?  And how do you mount tension to deliver a knockout ending?  Get a handle on the importance of structure in this 3-hour seminar while in class you a create memorable story plot structure, as you learn techniques for where to begin and how; diagrams that illustrate how structure keeps a story on track; how to avoid common plot problems, and how to solve them.  Janet Martin is a veteran journalist— magazine, newspaper and television news writer—who has written hundreds of stories on a variety of topics—both as fiction and nonfiction.

Using examples from popular novels, screenplays and your own writing, learn how the pros harness inspiration successfully toward a meaningful end.
