It’s summer! You can accomplish a lot or you can accomplish just a little. BUT, if it is on your bucket list to start a first draft of a novel guided by a seasoned veteran of the writing world, why would you say no? This class is designed to help writers start a novel in any genre in a condensed and intense format. It’s a novel staycation that packs a punch. You’ll study every aspect of novel writing and apply what you are learning.
Class includes one-to-one consultations with instructor and multiple workshopping opportunities. Initial workshop will be of between 5K-15K words and a second workshop will be between 15K-25K, as well as outlines and sketches submitted for feedback from peers and the instructor. Participants must have started a novel, even if it is only in outline form.
Note: This class will meet for TEN Wednesdays on the following dates: 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, 6/26, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, and 8/14.
