Most writers only know one way to write: the way they were taught. Don Fry helps writers create their own writing process by strengthening their strengths and changing or avoiding their weaknesses.

Don Fry has just published his 18th book, Writing Your Way: Creating a Writing Process that Works for You (Cincinnati: Writer’s Digest, 2012). He graduated from Duke and Berkeley, and taught medieval English at the University of Virginia and Stony Brook University. He changed professions to journalism and headed the writing faculty at the Poynter Institute. He now works as a freelance writing coach, helping writers and organizations get the bugs out of their writing.
