Strong character development and compelling character arcs are essential to the success of every story. Whether you’re starting a new project or already on your way, this seminar will help you get to know your characters better.

During the seminar, participants will read and discuss published writing specifically looking at effective choices the writers made to develop their characters. Then students will engage in discussion of effective methods to develop characters and complete a series of writing activities to create new characters or get to know their existing characters better.

She’s been teaching at WriterHouse for six years and is also the program manager, starting in 2022. She earned her MFA at the University of Central Florida.
