Get Work Done: Evaluating and Planning Structure for Your Book
June 29, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

Instructor: Kristie Smeltzer
$60 Members | $65 Nonmembers
Saturday, 6/29/19 | 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Are you ready to plan or revise your book? Stuck in the writing process because your book’s path is unclear? Join this seminar to roll up your sleeves and do some evaluation or planning for your book. Participants will apply several techniques to identifying or evaluating the structure of their work in progress. You’ll gain experience in the techniques and leave with a more robust toolbox to use in the future. You’ll also make progress on your work.
To be successful, participants must have a partial or complete draft of a book-length manuscript or an in-depth outline of a planned book. This seminar follows Structuring Your Book, offered two weeks prior, well. If you haven’t participated in that seminar, you’ll receive information about prep to do to successfully participate in this hands-on session.
Kristie Smeltzer’s work has appeared in The Doctor T.J. Eckleburg Review, Apeiron Review, Eclectica Magazine, The Florida Review, and So to Speak. Kristie is currently working on three novels. She earned her MFA at the University of Central Florida.
