Revision is a necessary part of the writing process. This workshop is for poets who have a group of poems that they’d like to take to the next level and prepare to send out for publication in a literary journal, or perhaps a contest. You might also be working on a section of a manuscript. This workshop can serve multiple purposes.
Over the course of this workshop, we will discuss the poems with care, helping poets to fully realize their poems for both content and form. Afterwards, we will discuss the possibilities for the work and places to submit your work including literary journals and magazines, contests for poems, chapbooks, and manuscripts. Brief one-on-one sessions with the workshop facilitator are included with this workshop.
Students are asked to submit up to five poems after registering so the workshop leader can review your work in advance. Please send your poems to email@example.com.
