Writing The Other – Online seminar

Instructor: Jody Hobbs Hesler
$30 Members | $35 Nonmembers
Saturday, Oct. 9, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Every time we tell a story that includes a point of view beyond our own experience, we are “writing the other.” How do we effectively enter a point of view that doesn’t belong to us? What are some dangers in inhabiting voices that are not our own? Using writing exercises and group discussions in this two-hour session, we’ll explore issues from authenticity to #OwnVoices, and beyond.
