INSTRUCTOR BIO
A former journalist, freelancer, and university publications writer and editor, Terry S. Levinson spent the next 24 years teaching writing to kindergarten through fifth grade students in Albemarle County, Virginia. She recently retired from Blue Ridge Virtual Governor’s School for gifted students. Terry is a member of Lonesome Mountain Writers, conducts writing workshops for adults, and began teaching for Writerhouse in 2015. When not writing, she can be found around Charlottesville catching live music, or catching smallmouth bass while walking the Rockfish, Tye, and Rapidan rivers. Sailing, art, photography, politics, and community service are passions, too. Terry has served on the board of the Marty Whitlow Ovarian Cancer Research Endowment at UVA since it’s inception in 2010.
