Submit one original poem to any Jefferson-Madison Regional Library (JMRL) location, WriterHouse*, or via our online entry form for a chance to win prizes and glory.
- Contest open from Sept. 24 – Oct. 25, 2022 for poets age 18 and above.
- One 30-line or less poem may be submitted by each contestant.
- Prizes: $200 Visa gift card for the winner and $100 Visa gift card for the runner-up.
- UVA English and Creative Writing Professor Lisa Russ Spaar will judge finalists (a panel of judges will review the entries).
