The 2017 Virginia Festival of the Book invites you to submit your writing to their first-ever fiction contest!
Ten submissions will be selected by committee and reviewed by The Atlantic‘s longtime fiction editor, C. Michael Curtis. He will then invite a selection of those ten writers for a one-on-one meeting with him during the 2017 Festival to discuss their work. (Note: The meeting is dependent upon the writer’s availability to meet during times offered by Curtis.)
The deadline to submit is Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at midnight (EST). For more information regarding submission guidelines, please check the Virginia Festival of the Book website.
