Teach a Class
WriterHouse seeks qualified teachers of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and various other genres of writing. Typical courses meet once weekly and run for eight weeks, but we also offer shorter seminars on selected topics. Our classes and seminars may take place in person or online via Zoom. Applicants should have some teaching experience as well as at least one of the following:
- An MFA or MA in creative writing from an accredited university and/or
- Significant publication within chosen genre.
