The Charlottesville YA Writers group is for anyone who writes for Middle Readers or Young Adults and wants the support and critique of like-minded writers. Besides critiquing each other’s chapters, we discuss YA fiction, share what we’ve learned from courses, conferences and books, and generally commiserate about the writing life. The group is now meeting in-person every other Tuesday. Contact Bonnie Redding 434-242-8759 or riderwriter5@yahoo.com for details.
The WriterHouse Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror/Speculative Fiction Writers Group meets at the Central Library in Charlottesville the second Monday of the month at 7 p.m. to share our ideas, our work, our favorite books, and mutually motivate and encourage one another in the genres of fiction that are our passion. Join us – if you dare. Email Beth at silvormoon@hotmail.com to find out how to join in.
