Community Partnerships WriterHouse partners with a wide variety of organizations to sponsor free literary events including contests, author events and workshops. Some of our past and current partners include the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library, New Dominion Bookshop, Bluebird Books, The Virginia Festival of the Book, The Women’s Initiative, The Center, and C-ville Weekly. Our free community events in 2026 will include a community-wide fiction contest, author readings, author panels, fiction, nonfiction and poetry workshops.
