Dr. Ann Garvin is the USA Today Bestselling author of I Like You Just Fine When You’re Not Around. She is an internationally published author, speaker and professor. Her novels, The Dog Year, & On Maggie’s Watch are each about women who struggle to find their way in a world that asks too much from them, too often. Garvin balances her literary pursuits with teaching in the University of Wisconsin system while supporting other writers and raising a family. She is the founder of The Tall Poppy Writers www.tallpoppies.org and Co-founder of The Fifth Semester www.thefifthsemester.com, a writing immersion program that takes you from inspiration to publication.
