INSTRUCTOR BIO
Sharron Singleton’s poems have appeared in Agni, Rattle, Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, among others. She won the James River Writers Contest and was Passager Poet of 2010, and also won 1st place prizes in 2010 and 2012 in the Poetry Society of Virginia annual contest and won 1st place in the MacGuffin Poet Hunt contest and the Sixfold Contest. In early 2015, Sharron won the Thomas Merton Poetry of the Sacred Contest. Her chapbook, A Thin Thread of Water was published in 2010. Sharron is also the winner of the 2017 Grayson Books Poetry Contest for “Our Hands a Hollow Bowl.”
